Buyers:

reFINEstyle Buyers should bid responsibly and always pay for purchases. 

Buyer Guidelines: As a Buyer, you are responsible for reviewing and understanding all reFINEstyle policies (including our detailed User Agreement).

reFINEstyle Policy Intent (including but not limited to):

·         Comply with applicable laws and regulations for a safe trading environment;

·         Minimize the Buyers and Sellers risk; 

·         Provide equal opportunity to all reFINEstyle Buyers;

·         Provide a superior buying experience; and 

·         Support reFINEstyle marketplace values.

Buyer Responsibilities:

·         Commit to paying for the item you win, regardless of whether you purchased it with or without a bidding feature. PLEASE NOTE, each bid is a BINDING CONTRACT to buy if you win the item.  It is your responsibility to familiarize yourself and understand any and all penalties related to non-payment.  Please see the reFINEstyle Unpaid Item Policy.

·         A Buyer may only use the Bid Retraction option for qualifying circumstances.   This feature shall not, under any circumstances, be used to manipulate the bidding process. 

·         A Buyer must use the Use Buy It Now feature if the Buyer is connected in ANY way to the Seller since such potential Buyers may have information related to the listed item that is not available to other potential Buyers. 

·         NOTE:  Sellers are not allowed to bid on their own item. Engaging in shill bidding to artificially increase an item’s price violates reFINEstyle policies and may be against the law.  

Violation of the reFINEstyle Buyer policies could result in a variety of actions, including:

·         Listing cancellation

·         Forfeiture of associated fees on cancelled listings

·         Limitation of Membership account

·         Limitation of Membership rights

·         Membership account suspension

·         Membership rights revoked
