About Megan
Megan Masoner began her love of great design (and great deals) at a young age. After graduating with a degree in Graphic Design from TCU (Texas Christian University), Megan began her career at EDS (Electronic Data Systems), where she served as a member of the leadership team until 2008. In early 2009, after ten years in big business, Megan decided to open reFINEstyle.com. Megan has an MBA from SMU (Southern Methodist University) with a concentration in Strategy and Entrepreneurship.
- When did your obsession with style begin:
- Although I've always had a great love of fashion (I can recall making a handmade pair of "oh so fashionable" cut off jeans adorned with puffy paint flowers… and lace trim to top it off!), let's just say my destiny was not intended to "show" fashion week. Fashion icon? Not so much. Love of fashion, absolutely!
- Things I'll always wear:
- All things black. Jeans and a white t-shirt. Ballet flats.
- I can't live without:
- A big purse (filled with coupons).
- My next trip:
- Las Vegas — "You gotta bet big to win big!"
- Favorite Recent Purchase:
- My MW watch.
- Favorite Childhood Christmas Gift:
- It's a tie, either my Little Tikes Make Up Counter or my Bedazzler.
- Fun fact:
- I love my role as "Aunt Megan" and adore my nephews James Odin Masoner, and Baby Masoner II on the way…
- Secret Talent:
- Gift wrapper extraordinaire! (I love all things paper).
- Favorite Fashion Quote:
- Women usually love what they buy, yet hate two-thirds of what is in their closets. ~Mignon McLaughlin, The Neurotic's Notebook, 1960 (I'm sure you can identify...but now you have reFINEstyle!)

Annie Salem
About Annie
Annie Salem began her career as a management consultant with Deloitte Consulting, and then went on to work for Megan at EDS. It was there Megan and Annie forged a great working relationship and realized their mutual love of both style and a good bargain. Annie currently works for Southwest Airlines in the Strategic Planning group while enjoying her role with reFINEstyle.com. Annie has her Bachelor's and Master's degrees in Organizational Leadership from Vanderbilt University.
- When did your obsession with style begin:
- My obsession began in elementary school… I took sewing lessons while others were on the soccer field. This love of fashion took a brief hiatus in middle school, when I opted to wear NBA jerseys instead of following the latest pre-teen trends… but reappeared in high school when I designed my dress for senior prom.
- Things I'll always wear:
- My grandmother's gold wedding band, button down shirts, and eyeliner.
- I can't live without:
- My favorite accessory, Henry — my Maltese/Yorkie.
- My next trip:
- I've always wanted to visit the kitschy arts town, Marfa, TX.
- Favorite Recent Purchase:
- My cropped black leather jacket.
- Favorite Childhood Christmas Gift:
- Definitely my Lite Brite!
- Favorite Designers:
- Marc Jacobs, 3.1 Phillip Lim, Robert Rodriguez, Elizabeth & James.
- Fun fact:
- I am obsessed with keeping in touch with old friends… some of my closest friends are from elementary school. Luckily Facebook makes it a lot easier these days!
- Secret Talent:
- I'd like to think I can make the inexpensive look like a splurge.
- Favorite Fashion Quote:
- Carpe Diem!
